Historic Hayward Field
Home of Historic Hayward Field; multi-year host of the Olympic Trials and national events, and local favorites such as The Prefontaine Classic
Crater Lake National Park
Lane County has it all, even a National Park only around 3 hours away. Visit Crater Lake for the views, hiking trails, camping and more; you won’t want to miss it! Make sure to check what to know before you go depending on the season.
Silvan Ridge Winery
Willamette Valley is the home of many vineyards along Territorial Highway and Lorane Highway. Silvan Ridge Winery is a popular spot as it sits across from Sweet Cheeks Winery, making for a fun day in Oregon’s countryside!
Can’t make it out of town? Check out Elizabeth’s Wine Lounge in the centrally located Oakway Center, where Silvan Ridge brings the wine to you.
Tamolitch Falls (Blue Pool)
One of Willamette Valley’s coveted lagoons, Blue Pool has reflective turquoise water. Careful though, this is not for swimming or jumping in! The water is on average 37 degrees Fahrenheit.
Locals and visitors alike enjoy the mostly flat but rocky hike and a picnic at the final destination. Be sure to practice Leave No Trace Principles.
Willamette Valley Vineyards
The name says it all, visit the Willamette Valley Vineyards estate just an hour north of Lane County in the Salem hills. Enjoy wines from the northern part of Oregon, without the twisty turns of the Willamette Valley countryside.
Canon Beach
The famous and well-photographed Haystack Rock at Canon Beach is only 3 hours from Springfield, Oregon. This northern Oregon Coast attraction has people flocking to see it. This is only one of many popular spots along Oregon’s coast.
